Which type of banding should I use?

The screw bands are so quick and easy, and they do NOT require any special tools. Whereas; the solid banding requires a little more effort to install, but they DO require the use of a special banding tool. That being said, the solid heavy duty banding is far superior in terms of strength. Manneco has a complete line of banding supplies to serve your every need.

Ideal Snap-Lock Screw Bands:

The quick and simple Ideal Snaplock screw bands are so simple and convenient.  All you need is either a standard flat blade screwdriver or a 5/16" nut driver to install them.  I strongly reccomend a minimum of  three (3) bands per faceplate; four (4) is better. They are suitable for use with your standard to smaller sized pole mount decorations - say about 40 pounds or less.

Band-It Solid Heavy Duty Banding:

The super heavy duty solid stainless steel Band-It banding is a little less convenient to work with but it is many times a superior product in terms of absolute strength. The solid banding does require the use of a special banding tool.

Our 1/2", 5/8", & 3/4" wide solid Band-It banding is packaged in 100' spools in a handy plastic tote. These totes make it very simple and convenient to pull out the required amount of banding.
